For far less than the daily cost of two visits by a “pet sitter”, your dog enjoys attention, exercise, and companionship on a 24-hour basis. Dogs spend their days, and nights, in a home environment. I closely limit the number of dogs staying at any given time, to allow individual care of a high quality. There are no additional “add-on” charges for any care such as exercise, special dietary needs, or medication.
I specialize in high-need dogs such as seniors, puppies, or dogs with health issues that may need medication or close monitoring. Daily care is tailored to each individual pet’s needs. There is no differing level of treatment based upon an owner’s ability to pay. As Owner/Operator, I live on premises. Your dog is strictly under my care, not that of an employee.
Days and Nights at Tumalo Bed & Biscuit
Dogs thrive on routine, exercise, and loving. My property of ten aces in rural Tumalo includes multiple canine choices for fun and stimulation. Boarders have supervised access to all amenities on the fenced portion of the property. The immediate acre and a half plus, surrounding the residence, is fenced and cross-fenced. It includes a “wading pond” for dogs that love a warm weather dip. There is an additional 25’ by 50’ run area for dogs who may need a separate daytime exercise option. In addition, I have a fenced agility field for extra fun and games such as group play, ball toss, and monitored agility equipment play. I firmly believe that an exercised, “tuckered out” dog is a happy dog that gets along well with others, maintains or improves fitness, and sleeps well at night. Care is taken to include “naps” throughout the day. Safety for each dog is a priority during all activities. Dogs in my care are NEVER off-lead outside of a fenced area.
At night, after dinner and a good day of outdoor play, everyone settles inside for a relaxed night. Dogs sleep in either the main cabin or sleeping “studio”, based on their size and needs. They sleep on a variety of comfy choices, including their own bed from home if you prefer. There is also the choice of appropriate cozy crates for those who are better in their “den”. Everyone gets a “bedtime biscuit” before retiring. Enjoy “snoozin'” pictures below!
